C Reserved Words – Keywords in C: Before starting “C”, it is very important to know some of its basic ingredients. “C” Tokens

C Reserved Words or Keywords in

Some words of “C” language are kept reserved. These words have special meanings for C compiler, so they are called Keyword or Reserve Words.

Every Reserve Word has its own special meaning and every Reserve Word is used only to accomplish special work in a particular situation.

We can not use any Reserve Word as a normal identifier.

In almost all Programming languages, these names have been kept in general reserved. However, as per the requirement in different programming languages, new words have been reserved as keywords, which are known as keywords.

C Programming Language is basically based on five basic elements, out of which Keyword / Reserved Words is only an Element. Apart from this, there are many more Basic Elements / Sub-Elements, such as Identifiers, Constants, Variables, Literals, Operators, which can not be understood properly without understanding the C language, nor any other programming language, Because these Basic Elements are exclusively Exist in C Language and any other Programming Language.
